Cherry Blossom Nails

Aren't cherry blossoms absolutely beautiful. I make a simple nail design bring those cute flowers on my nails. Just make sure you have a steady hand.

What I used to this design:
  • Orly -Blue Collar
  • Bonita -Phatom red
  • Sally Hansen -Fuchsia Bling Bling
  • Confetti -Pink Paradise
  • Sally Girl -Pink Glitter
  • Total Manicure Top & Base Coat
  • Dotting Tool/Ball Point Pen*
Colors: Sky Blue, Dark Red, Bright Pink, Light Pink, and Pink Glitter.

  1. First apply your base coat, then apply one - two coats of a sky blue nail polish.
  2. Now place some of the dark red nail polish onto a piece of paper. With your dotting tool draw branches by making one straight line then lines coming off of it. Easy Pezy!
  3. Clean your dotting tool. Now place some bright pink polish on a piece of paper. And with your dotting tool, make 3-4 dots touching each other on the end of each branch. You may want to place a flower on the branch itself.
  4. Clean your dotting tool one last time, and now place some light pink polish on a piece of paper. Dot a single dot in the center of each flower.
  5. With either (Optional) Pink Glitter or Bright Pink polish place dots all around the design. These are falling petals.
  6. Finally once everything is dry, and put 1-2 layers of a top coat. All Done!

Easy and super cute design to where with all this sunny weather! Have a pretty day!

Starry Night Nails

Today's nail design are somewhat inspired by the
Van Gogh. It is very easy to do with only a sponge for the gradient of blue for the night sky and a dotting tool for the star and moon. I do not own a dotting tool so I use a ball-point pen. It's an easy DIY fix for a dotting tool.

For this design I used:
  • Total Manicure Top & Base Coat
  • Orly-Blue Collar
  • NYC in a NY Minute- West Village
  • Wet n' Wild Wild Shine-Black Creme
  • Orly-Glitz
  • NYC Long Wearing-Taxi Yellow Creme
The colors you will need is: Sky Blue, Navy Blue, Black, Yellow, and Gold
  1. Once you have applied your base coat, then apply a liberal coat of the sky blue.
  2. Then with the sponge, sponge the navy blue on the top 3/4 of the nail (towards the cuticle).
  3. And to finish the night sky gradient, apply black on the top 1/4 of the nail.
  4. Once the gradient is completely dry, with your dotting tool dot the yellow on the lower half of the nail with the light and navy blue.
  5. Then dot the gold onto the top half of the nail. Apply a few in-between the yellow dots.
  6. On the thumb in the top corner make a crescent shape for the moon.
  7. Finally apply a top coat to finish and protect your design.
Have an awesome day and enjoy your nails!
